Our Process
Eleven Defined Phases.
Zero Surprises.
Every Vanta Pools project follows the same structured process. You always know what is happening, what comes next, and who to contact.
Consultation
We listen first. Understanding your property, lifestyle, and vision.
Every project begins with a thorough on-site consultation. We assess your property, discuss your goals, review potential pool locations, and address any site-specific considerations such as access, utilities, drainage, and HOA requirements. This is where we begin building a relationship based on clear communication.
Design Selection
Choosing the right pool model for your space and lifestyle.
Based on your consultation, we present pool models that match your yard dimensions, aesthetic preferences, and intended use. We walk through each option in detail — dimensions, depths, features like tanning ledges or built-in spas — so you make a confident, informed decision.
Engineering
Precise structural and site engineering for your specific property.
Our licensed engineers prepare detailed structural plans and site-specific engineering documents. This includes soil analysis considerations, load calculations, setback compliance, and equipment placement. Every detail is engineered before any ground is broken.
Permitting
We manage the entire permitting process with local authorities.
We prepare and submit all required permit applications to your local building department. This includes site plans, engineering documents, barrier compliance, and any HOA submissions. We track the permit through approval and keep you informed of the timeline.
Scheduling
A clear timeline with defined milestones, communicated in advance.
Once permits are approved, we build your project schedule. You receive a clear timeline with each phase mapped out, including estimated start dates and key milestones. We coordinate all trades, deliveries, and inspections to keep the project on track.
Excavation
Precise excavation matched to your pool specifications.
Our excavation team prepares your site according to the engineered plans. The dig is precisely matched to the pool shell dimensions with proper grading for drainage. We protect your existing landscape and structures throughout the process.
Pool Installation
The fiberglass shell is set, leveled, and secured in a single day.
The fiberglass pool shell arrives on-site and is crane-set into the excavation. Our team precisely levels and secures the shell, then begins backfilling with engineered materials. The pool is filled simultaneously to maintain proper pressure balance. This critical phase is completed in a single day.
Plumbing & Equipment
Professional installation of all mechanical and electrical systems.
Licensed plumbers and electricians install all pool equipment: pumps, filters, heaters, saltwater systems, lighting, and automation controls. Every connection is tested and verified. Equipment is selected for efficiency, reliability, and quiet operation.
Inspections
All required municipal inspections, managed by our team.
We schedule and coordinate all required building inspections — structural, electrical, plumbing, barrier, and final. Our team is present for every inspection to address any questions from the inspector and ensure timely approvals.
Startup & Balancing
Water chemistry balanced and all systems tested for operation.
With the pool filled and equipment installed, we perform a complete system startup. Water chemistry is tested and balanced, all equipment is calibrated, automation is programmed, and every system is verified for proper operation before handoff.
Final Walkthrough
A comprehensive handoff with everything you need to enjoy your pool.
We walk through every aspect of your completed project together. You learn how to operate the equipment, maintain water chemistry, use automation controls, and care for the pool surface. We provide all documentation, warranty information, and our direct contact for any future questions.
